Publication
Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥārithī, also known as al-Sabadhmūnī, Kashf al-Āthār al-Sharīfa fī Manāqib al-Imām Abī Ḥanīfa. Edited and annotated by Laṭīf al-Raḥmān al-Bahrāʾijī al-Qāsimī. Maktabat al-Irshād, Istanbul, first edition, 1441 AH / 2020. Two printed volumes.
Author’s name
The title page names the author Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥārithī (d. 340 AH). This is the author catalogued in the atlas as al-Sabadhmūnī: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb al-Ḥārithī al-Bukhārī. The alternate name is retained for searching and identification.
Manuscript and editorial work
The publisher’s notice (volume 1, PDF page 5) states that the edited text was checked against a manuscript photograph from the Biruni Institute in Tashkent, supplied through Muḥammad Fātiḥ Kaya and Ömer Kadir Yılmaz. The existing bibliography identifies the Tashkent witness as no. 3105, 326 folios, copied in 649 AH / 1251; that shelfmark and date remain attributed to Çeker’s catalogue.
In his introduction (volume 1, printed pp. 10–11; PDF pp. 11–12), the editor describes working from manuscript reproductions obtained through the King Faisal library in Riyadh. He discusses faded or blank areas, preparation of a transcription, correction through comparison with other manāqib works and language and hadith sources, and the difficulty of reading approximately thirty leaves near the end. These are editorial descriptions, not an independent verification of every reconstructed reading.
Publication information was checked against the title and copyright pages of the supplied scans (PDF pages 3–4). The PDFs contain 624 and 649 scanned pages respectively; these are PDF counts, not printed pagination.
