I heard ʿAlī ibn al-Farazdaq say: I heard Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān al-Qīrāṭī say: I heard Ḥammād ibn Qīrāṭ say: For everyone who remained with Abū Ḥanīfa for six months, his superiority over others became evident.

He said: Sahl ibn Muzāḥim related to us, from Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm, who said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, may God have mercy on them, who said: The Companions of Muḥammad, God bless him and grant him peace, and may He be pleased with them, agreed on nothing as they agreed on praying dawn when it had become light and hastening the sunset prayer.
