حدثنا الحسن بن معروف البخاري سكن بلخ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن زنبور، قال: حدثنا الحارث بن عمير المكي، قال:كان أبو حنيفة رضي الله عنه إذا قدم مكة كان عامة من مجالسه ابن جريج وعبد العزيز بن أبي رواد، وكان ابن جريج يطريه ويحبه.

Al-Ḥasan ibn Maʿrūf al-Bukhārī, who settled in Balkh, related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Zanbūr related to us. He said: al-Ḥārith ibn ʿUmayr al-Makkī related to us. He said: When Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him, came to Mecca, those who sat with him most often were Ibn Jurayj and ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Rawwād. Ibn Jurayj praised him and loved him.
