Show English translation

Among those who taught alongside this generation was Abū ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Mūsā, the blind man, whose name was Muḥammad ibn ʿĪsā. He held judicial office on the eastern side, then was found murdered in his house. He died before Abū al-Ḥasan al-Karkhī, in the years thirty-something [the century is not repeated in the Arabic].
