ثنا أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الرحيم السرخسي، قال: ثنا موسى بن نصر، قال: ثنا بكير بن جعفر الجرجاني، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم رحمة الله عليهم أنه قال: لا بأس أن ينفل الإمام يغريهم على القتال.

Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥīm al-Sarakhsī related to us. He said: Mūsā ibn Naṣr related to us. He said: Bukayr ibn Jaʿfar al-Jurjānī related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—God have mercy on them— that he said: “There is no harm in the ruler granting extra shares of booty to encourage them to fight.”
