أخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان، قال: حدثنا ابن أبي شيبة، قال: حدثنا حفص بن غياث، عن أبي حنيفة، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم رحمة الله عليهم، قال: إذا أهلّت بعمرة فخافت فوت الحج: أهلَّتْ بالحج ورفضت العمرة، وعليها دم والعمرة.

Al-Ḥasan ibn Sufyān informed us: Ibn Abī Shayba related to us: Ḥafṣ ibn Ghiyāth related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—may God have mercy on them—who said: If she enters consecration for ʿumra and fears missing the pilgrimage, she enters consecration for pilgrimage and abandons the ʿumra. She owes a sacrificial offering and an ʿumra.
