حماد (report 272; identity unresolved)

Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad informed us. He said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad ibn Buhlūl related to us. He said: ‘This is the book of my grandfather, Ismāʿīl ibn Ḥammād.’ I read in it: al-Ḥasan [ibn] Thābit al-Taghlibī related to me, from Isḥāq ibn Abī Isḥāq, who said: More than once I saw my father ask Abū Ḥanīfa: ‘What did Ḥammād say about such-and-such?’
