كتب إليّ صالح بن أبي رميح، قال: حدثنا عمار بن رجاء، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن أبي طيبة، عن أبيه، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن عثمان بن الأسود، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر رضي الله عنه،أن رجلاً جرح رجلاً فأراد أن يستقيد، فنهى النبي عليه السلام أن يستقاد من الجارح حتى يبرأ المجروح.

Ṣāliḥ ibn Abī Rumayḥ wrote to me. He said: ʿAmmār ibn Rajāʾ related to us. He said: Aḥmad ibn Abī Ṭayba related to us, from his father. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from ʿUthmān ibn al-Aswad, from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir, God be pleased with him, that a man wounded another man, who wished to exact retaliation. The Prophet, peace be upon him, forbade exacting retaliation from the person who inflicted the wound until the wounded person had recovered.
حدثنا محمد بن حمدان بن محمد الدامغاني، قال: حدثنا عمار بن رجاء، قال: حدثنا [ابن] أبي طيبة، عن أبيه، عن أبي حنيفة، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم رحمة الله عليهم قال:قال رسول الله ﷺ: «ما انتهيت إلى الركن اليماني إلا لقيت عنده جبريل عليه السلام».

Muḥammad ibn Ḥamdān ibn Muḥammad al-Dāmghānī related to us. He said: ʿAmmār ibn Rajāʾ related to us. He said: [Ibn] Abī Ṭayba related to us, from his father, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—God have mercy on them—who said: The Messenger of God, God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whenever I came to the Yemeni Corner, I met Gabriel there, peace be upon him.”
