كتب إليّ صالح بن أبي رميح، قال: حدثنا الخضر بن أبان، قال: حدثنا محمد بن سابق، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن جابر، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: ما تركت استلام الحجر منذ رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يستلمه.

Wrote to me: Ṣāliḥ ibn Abī Rumayḥ; he said: related to us: al-Khiḍr ibn Abān; he said: related to us: Muḥammad ibn Sābiq; he said: related to us: Abū Ḥanīfa, from Jābir, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar—may God be pleased with them both—who said: I have not ceased touching the Stone since I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, touch it.
