حدثنا محمد بن القاسم بن جناح الواسطي بالقادسية، قال: حدثنا محمد بن الهيثم، قال: حدثنا وضاح بن يحيى النهشلي، قال: حدثنا سليم بن عيسى المقرئ، عن أبي حنيفة رحمة الله عليه، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر رضي الله عنه: أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى في ثوب واحد متوشِّحاً به.

Muḥammad ibn al-Qāsim ibn Janāḥ al-Wāsiṭī related to us in al-Qādisiyya: Muḥammad ibn al-Haytham related to us: Waḍḍāḥ ibn Yaḥyā al-Nahshalī related to us: Sulaym ibn ʿĪsā the Qurʾān reciter related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa—may God have mercy on him—from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir—may God be pleased with him: The Messenger of God—God bless him and grant him peace—prayed in a single garment, wrapping it around himself with its ends across his shoulders.
