حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن زياد، قال: حدثنا داود بن رشيد، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن أبي حنيفة، عن مسلم رحمة الله عليهم، عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: سافر النبي ﷺ إلى مكة في رمضان فصام، وصام المسلمون معه، حتى إذا كان ببعض الطريق شكا إليه المسلمون، فأفطر وأفطر المسلمون.

Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ziyad related to us; he said: Dawud ibn Rashid related to us; he said: Ismaʿil ibn ʿAyyash related to us, from Abu Hanifa, from Muslim, may God have mercy on them, from Anas, may God be pleased with him; he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, travelled to Mecca in Ramadan and fasted, and the Muslims fasted with him. When he was partway along the road, the Muslims complained to him, so he broke his fast and the Muslims broke theirs.
