حدثنا أبو جعفر محمد بن الحسن بن حفص الخثعمي الكوفي، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن بديل، قال: حدثنا جرير، قال: كان رقبة ربما سألني عن قول أبي حنيفة، وكان يعلم أني أختلف إليه، وقد بلغني أنه أتى أبا حنيفة غير مرة.

Abū Jaʿfar Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan ibn Ḥafṣ al-Khathʿamī al-Kūfī related to us. He said: Aḥmad ibn Budayl related to us. He said: Jarīr related to us. He said: Raqaba sometimes asked me about Abū Ḥanīfa’s view. He knew that I used to attend him. I have heard that he visited Abū Ḥanīfa more than once.
