Abū Yaḥyā Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān al-Rāzī

Badr ibn al-Haytham ibn Khalaf al-Ḥaḍramī al-Baghdādī, Muḥammad ibn Qudāma al-Zāhid al-Balkhī and Ḥāmid ibn Sahl al-Bukhārī related to us. They said: Abū Kurayb related to us. He said: Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān al-Rāzī related to us, from Abū Jaʿfar, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—God have mercy on them— concerning a man who met three people and said: “One of you is a fornicator.” He said: “He is not subject to a prescribed punishment.”

ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad ibn Bujayr related to us. He said: Abū Saʿīd al-Ashajj related to us. He said: Abū Yaḥyā Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān related to us, from Abū Jaʿfar, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—God have mercy on them— the same.

Muḥammad ibn Qudāma al-Zāhid al-Balkhī related to us. He said: Layth ibn Musāwir related to us. He said: Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān al-Rāzī related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd—God have mercy on them—from ʿAmra, from ʿĀʾisha, God be pleased with her, who said: They used to go to Friday prayer having sweated and become covered in mud. They were told: “Whoever goes to Friday prayer should bathe.”

Muḥammad ibn Qudāma related to us. He said: Layth ibn Musāwir related to us. He said: Isḥāq ibn Sulaymān related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from ʿAmr ibn Murra, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Salama—God have mercy on them—from ʿAlī, God be pleased with him, who said: Part of completing the pilgrimage is to enter pilgrimage consecration from your family’s dwelling.
