حدثنا عبد الله بن عبيد الله، قال: حدثنا أبو محمد شعيب بن شعيب بن إسحاق الدمشقي، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن صالح الوحاظي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن خالد الوهبي، عن أبي حنيفة رحمة الله عليه قال: رأيت عطاء [عليه] قلنسوة وهو محرم، فقلت تلبس قلنسوة وأنت محرم؟ قال: إني أجد صداعًا وسأهريق لذلك دمًا.

ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUbayd Allah related to us; he said: Abu Muhammad Shuʿayb ibn Shuʿayb ibn Ishaq al-Dimashqi related to us; he said: Yahya ibn Salih al-Wuhazi related to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Khalid al-Wahbi related to us, from Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him; he said: I saw ʿAtaʾ [wearing] a cap while in pilgrimage consecration. I said: You wear a cap while in consecration? He said: I have a headache and shall offer a blood sacrifice for that.
