حدثنا محمد بن بهنس الوراق المروزي، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن عبد الحكم، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن قيس الزعفراني، قال: حدثنا إسرائيل، عن عاصم، عن أبي رزين، عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما في المرتدة؟ قال: تحبس ولا تقتل، قال محمد بن بهنس: سمعت غير واحد من أصحابنا أن إسرائيل سمع هذا الحديث من أبي حنيفة رضي الله عنه.

Muḥammad ibn Bahnas al-Warrāq al-Marwazī related to us: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥakam related to us: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Qays al-Zaʿfarānī related to us: Isrāʾīl related to us, from ʿĀṣim, from Abū Razīn, from Ibn ʿAbbās—may God be pleased with them both: Concerning a woman who apostatizes, he said, ‘She is imprisoned, not killed.’ Muḥammad ibn Bahnas said: I heard more than one of our companions say that Isrāʾīl heard this report from Abū Ḥanīfa—may God be pleased with him.
