حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن زياد، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن حميد، قال: حدثنا بقية بن الوليد، عن أبي حنيفة، عن عاصم، عن زرّ، عن أبيّ رضي الله عنه قال: ليلة القدر ليلة سبع وعشرين بالعلامة التي أخبرنا بها رسول الله عليه السلام، وذلك أن يطلع الشمس صبيحتها لا شعاع لها.

Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ziyad related to us; he said: ʿAmr ibn Humayd related to us; he said: Baqiyya ibn al-Walid related to us, from Abu Hanifa, from ʿAsim, from Zirr, from Ubayy, may God be pleased with him; he said: The Night of Decree is the twenty-seventh night, by the sign the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, told us about: that the sun rises on its morning without rays.
