Ṣārim al-Dīn Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. Aydamir al-ʿAlāʾī
By the 'historian of Egypt', in three volumes and eight generations, one per century. Çeker finds most entries copied word for word from al-Jawāhir and the life of Abū Ḥanīfa from al-Ṣaymarī, usually without credit. A remark on al-Shāfiʿī earned him a beating and prison.
