أبي أمامة

Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā wrote to me. He said: Muḥammad ibn Manṣūr al-Sulamī related to us. He said: Al-Jārūd ibn Yazīd related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, from Abū Umāma, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever says: ‘Glory be to God as many times as what He created; glory be to God to the fullness of what He created; glory be to God as many times as what is in the heavens and on earth; glory be to God as many times as what His Book has counted; glory be to God as many times as everything; glory be to God to the fullness of everything,’ and says ‘Praise be to God’ in the same way in the morning, has said the equivalent of what people say throughout their day, except someone who says the same or more. Whoever says it in the evening has said the equivalent of what people say throughout their night, except someone who says the same or more.”
