حدثنا الحسن بن سفيان، قال: حدثنا ابن أبي شيبة، قال: حدثنا حفص بن غياث، عن الشيباني، وأبي حنيفة، عن حماد رحمة الله عليهم، قال: تجوز شهادة القابلة وحدها، قال أحدهما: وإن كانت يهودية.

Al-Ḥasan ibn Sufyān related to us: Ibn Abī Shayba related to us: Ḥafṣ ibn Ghiyāth related to us, from al-Shaybānī and Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād—may God have mercy on them—who said: The testimony of a midwife alone is admissible. One of the two said, ‘Even if she is Jewish.’
