My father and Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Sahl related to us. They said: Abū ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Ḥafṣ related to us, from his father, from ʿĪsā, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm and Saʿīd ibn Jubayr—may God have mercy on them both: They set al-Madāʾin and places at a similar distance from Kufa as the limit for shortening the prayer.
