حدثنا إبراهيم بن معقل بن الحجاج النسفي، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن بهرام من جيران أبي كريب، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن جبير الأزدي عن محمد بن السماك، قال: سألت أبا حنيفة رحمة الله عليه: من صلى على عثمان رضي الله عنه؟ قال: الحسن بن علي رضي الله عنهما.

Ibrāhīm ibn Maʿqil ibn al-Ḥajjāj al-Nasafī related to us: Ismāʿīl ibn Bahrām, one of Abū Kurayb’s neighbors, related to us: ʿAmr ibn Jubayr al-Azdī related to us, from Muḥammad ibn al-Sammāk, who said: I asked Abū Ḥanīfa—may God have mercy on him—‘Who offered the funeral prayer over ʿUthmān—may God be pleased with him?’ He said, ‘Al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī—may God be pleased with them both.’
