حدثنا العباس بن عزيز القطان المروزي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن حميد، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن المختار الرازي، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن خالد بن علقمة، عن عبد خير رحمة الله عليهم، عن علي رضي الله عنه،أنه دعا بماء فتوضأ فغسل يديه ثلاثًا، ومضمض واستنشق ثلاثًا ثلاثًا، وغسل وجهه وذراعيه ثلاثًا ثلاثًا، ومسح برأسه ثلاثًا، وغسل رجليه [ثلاثًا]، وقال: هذا وضوء رسول الله ﷺ.

Al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAzīz al-Qaṭṭān al-Marwazī related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Ḥumayd related to us. He said: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mukhtār al-Rāzī related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Khālid ibn ʿAlqama, from ʿAbd Khayr—God have mercy on them—from ʿAlī, God be pleased with him, that he called for water and performed ablution. He washed his hands three times, rinsed his mouth and drew water into his nose three times each, washed his face and forearms three times each, wiped his head three times, and washed his feet [three times]. He said: “This is the ablution of the Messenger of God, God bless him and grant him peace.”
أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عبيد، قال: حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق الزهري، قال: أخبرنا إبراهيم بن المختار، قال: أخبرنا أبو حنيفة، عن حماد بن أبي سليمان، عن عكرمة رحمة الله عليهم،أنه طاف فلم يصعد الصفا، فقلت: ألا تصعد؟ قال: هكذا طاف النبي عليه السلام، فذكرت لسعيد بن جبير فقال: طاف النبي عليه السلام بين الصفا والمروة وهو شاك على راحلته.

Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Saʿīd informed us. He said: Muḥammad ibn ʿUbayd related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq al-Zuhrī related to us. He said: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mukhtār informed us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa informed us, from Ḥammād ibn Abī Sulaymān, from ʿIkrima—God have mercy on them— that he made the circuit but did not ascend al-Ṣafā. I asked: “Will you not ascend?” He replied: “This is how the Prophet, peace be upon him, made the circuit.” I mentioned it to Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, who said: “The Prophet, peace be upon him, made the circuit between al-Ṣafā and al-Marwa on his mount while unwell.”
حدثنا محمد بن عاصم، قال: حدثنا محمد بن النضر، قال: حدثنا القاسم بن عبد الأعلى، قال: سمعت أبا إسحاق الطالقاني يحدث، عن إبراهيم بن المختار قال:سمعت أبا حنيفة يقول: سألت قتادة عن قول الله: ﴿الَّذِي عِندَهُ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ﴾ [النمل: ٤٠] قال: كان من أصحاب سليمان، فقلت له: أكان في أصحاب سليمان من هو أعلم منه؟ فغضب، قال: وسألته عن قوله عز وجل: ﴿وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ﴾ [الذاريات: ٥٦] عام أو خاص؟ قال: عام، قال: وسألته عن قوله عز وجل: ﴿وَالْعَصْرِ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ﴾ [العصر: ١ ـ ٢] عام أو خاص؟ قال: خاص، وغضب عليّ وقال: لا أجيبك، قلت: إذًا لا أبالي.

Muḥammad ibn ʿĀṣim related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn al-Naḍr related to us. He said: Al-Qāsim ibn ʿAbd al-Aʿlā related to us. He said: I heard Abū Isḥāq al-Ṭālaqānī relate from Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mukhtār, who said: I heard Abū Ḥanīfa say: “I asked Qatāda about God’s words, ‘The one who had knowledge from the Book’ [al-Naml: 40]. He replied: ‘He was one of Solomon’s companions.’ I asked him: ‘Was there among Solomon’s companions someone more learned than he was?’ He became angry. I asked him about the words of God, mighty and exalted: ‘I created jinn and humankind only to worship Me’ [al-Dhāriyāt: 56]: ‘Is this general or particular?’ He replied: ‘General.’ I asked him about the words of God, mighty and exalted: ‘By time! Truly humankind is in loss’ [al-ʿAṣr: 1–2]: ‘Is this general or particular?’ He replied: ‘Particular.’ He became angry with me and said: ‘I will not answer you.’ I replied: ‘In that case, I do not mind.’”
